Bavaria is the largest German territory. Its typical atmosphere is given by little towns and villages. Wooden shells, high red tiled roofs with many little skylights, old signboards, town walls, ancient churches, domes and steeples, narrow streets and riverbanks, huge green areas and many flowers take us to a wonderfully calm and merry world. Beside the well known Octoberfest holder Munich and the medieval older town look keeper Nuremberg, Regensburg and Augsburg there are castles like the romantic Neuschwanstein that are waiting for the traveller. There are glittering lakes in the green pinewood like the Königssee and the Chiemsee, and mountaintops like the snow-capped Zugspitze. Though Bavaria is only one territory within the German territories everyone can feel it is quite different fro...

In Munich, where locals specialize in good living, we visit boisterous markets and go-for-Baroque palaces, while office workers surf in the Isar River. Heading into the foothills of the Alps, we tour the fairy-tale castles of "Mad" King Ludwig, and climb to the highest point in Germany atop the Zugspitze. Then we cross into Tirol to conquer a desolate ruined castle. © 2002 Rick Steves' Europe

Hiking around Bavaria and the Alps with friends during fest season. Lots of Bavarian beer, and awesome hikes. Map of all the locations I travelled to during the trip: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1oqJOCsekuduvrTqsyFEivl04sAg&usp=sharing TOP TRAVEL TIPS: *Since Bavaria is not the easiest place to get around, we rented a car. There are cheap options for car rentals! It was 143 Euros for 8 days, but insurance was 150 Euros for that time too. Having a car allowed me to see more though in the 9 days I was in Germany. *If you have the means, renting a German car will simply be better and safer for the autobahn. *I recommend staying in the small towns as opposed to any of the big cities. The experience of being able to walk around these towns is so much more memorable than walking around ...
We join Ahmed Alsufyani on his trip to Munich. He's a big fan of the Bayern Munich soccer team - so a visit to the stadium is top of the list. He also stops by Viktualienmarkt square and tries on a traditional Bavarian outfit. Read more on http://www.dw.de/dw/episode/0,,15989744,00.html

Slop earfuls of the moneymaker
Grazed idiocy, words and paper
If only you could understand
Pushed to ofar
Count the days
Count the days
Idle fist break your way
Brain trust trickles down stupidity
Juggling heads of responsibility
